General

1. What materials are your products made from?

All my products are handmade with love, primarily using upcycled materials, ensuring each piece is unique and eco-friendly.

2. Where are your products made?

My products are lovingly crafted in my home in Canada.

Orders

3. How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through this website. Simply add the desired items to your cart and follow the checkout process.

4. Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact me within 24 hours of placing it.

5. Can I include a personalized note with my order?

Yes! I include a personalized note with every order. If the recipient’s name is different from the name on the order (whether it's a gift, you go by a different name, or any other reason), please let me know the correct name to use in the order notes. I want to ensure your order is as personal and thoughtful as possible, especially for my LGBTQIA+ customers —your accurate name matters.

Payment Plans

6. Do you accept Payment Plans?

Yes, I accept Afterpay! To use Afterpay, simply proceed to the checkout page and select "Payment Method." Then, click on "Alternative Payment Methods," and you’ll see the option to choose Afterpay. Once you complete your purchase, you’ll be securely redirected to Afterpay to finalize your payment.

Shipping

7. What are your shipping options and costs?

Currently I only offer shipping through Canada Post, and the cheapest rate will be automatically applied at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight and size of your order.

8. Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, Shopify's predetermined market regions allow me to ship to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.

9. What if my country isn't listed for shipping?

If your country isn't listed but you'd like to make a purchase, please email me with the subject line "INTERNATIONAL ORDER: (item name)." I'll reserve the item for you, provide you with the available shipping options and costs, and send you an invoice. Please note that orders are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so once an item is sold out, I won't be able to reserve it for you. While this process isn't ideal, it's currently the best way I can serve international customers outside of Shopify's pre-determined market regions.

10. How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days. Delivery times vary based on your location.

11. Can I combine shipping if I place multiple orders?

If the orders have not yet shipped, yes, you can! If you place multiple orders and pay for shipping more than once, I can combine them into one shipment. Just let me know by contacting me as soon as possible, and I'll refund the extra shipping costs for one of the orders. Thank you for supporting my shop and understanding!

Returns

12. What is your return policy?

I accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in their original condition. Please contact me for return instructions.

13. How do I return an item?

To return an item, please email me with your order number and reason for return. I will provide you with return instructions.

Product Care

14a. How should I care for my new plushie?

Each of my creatures comes with specific care instructions. Generally, I recommend spot cleaning gently with a damp cloth and keeping them in a cozy, dry place. 

 

14b. How should I care for my new DIY clothing piece?

To keep your DIY clothing looking its best, please follow these general care instructions:

Machine Wash Cold: Most of the clothing can be machine washed in cold water to preserve the fabric and colors.

Dry with Care: To maintain the quality and longevity of your clothing, I recommend hanging items to dry, or tumble drying on low.

Check the Tag: Each piece has specific care instructions indicated on the tag. Please refer to these instructions to ensure proper care.

By following these guidelines, your DIY clothing will stay in great condition for years to come. If you have any questions about caring for a particular item, feel free to reach out to me directly.

 

14c. How should I care for my OOAK (One-of-a-Kind) doll?

To ensure your OOAK doll remains in perfect condition, please follow these care instructions:

Handle with Care: This is an art doll and not a toy. While it is posable, it should be handled gently and always with clean hands (or gloves).

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Display your doll out of direct sunlight to prevent fading or damage to its delicate features.

Dust Gently: Use a makeup brush or a soft microfiber cloth to gently dust your dolls face and body, keeping it free from any buildup. You can also use a small lint roller to gently remove dust from the clothing or hair.

Spot Clean with Care: If your doll gets grimy, carefully spot clean it with a gentle cleanser applied with a Q-tip, (warm, soapy water is my favourite). Avoid soaking or using harsh chemicals.

Lash Maintenance: Although the lashes are securely attached, if they do become dislodged, you can reattach them using craft glue and a toothpick. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to me for help.

By following these guidelines, your OOAK doll will stay beautiful and enchanting for years to come. If you have any questions or need additional care tips, don't hesitate to contact me.

Repairs

15. Do you offer repairs for damaged items?

Yes, I offer repair services. Please contact me with details and photos of the damage, and I’ll do my best to assist you with the repair process.

16. Do you accept custom orders?

At this time, I am not accepting custom orders. However, if this changes in the future, I will provide updates through my email list. Make sure to subscribe to stay informed about any new developments and exciting announcements! Thank you for your understanding and support.
